What is SNAP/EBT?

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, provides monthly benefits to help low-income families buy nutritious food. Benefits are loaded onto an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card which works like a debit card at participating retailers β€” including Fresh Food Factory.

SNAP benefits can be used to purchase food products for home consumption. This includes fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, dairy, bread, cereals, and seeds or plants that produce food.
